Transport of Delight

National Railway Museum, York

The National Railway Museum is now based in part of the old engine sheds at York. There is a very large number of locomotives in the national collection. Often some will be found to be out on main line workings, on loan to preserved sites or in store so that the exhibits rotate over time.

The photographs in this gallery were taken on two separate occasions, when I visited in 1993 and again in 2003.

There are 13 photographs in this gallery.
