Transport of Delight

The class 67 Co-Cos were built as high-speed locomotives for EWS in 1999-2000 primarily
intended for use on Royal Mail services. They are now used as part of the general fleet
especially on passenger services, including sleeper work, and ECML "Thunderbird" work.
The 30 locomotives were classified by GM as model JT-42-HWHS they are powered by a
12N-710G3B-EC engine rated at 2980 hp. Currently, 23 are in DB Schenker livery, two used for
Royal Train work when required and the remaining five are in Wrexham & Shropshire livery.
