Diesel locomotives - Class 58

Following on from Class 56, this class consisted of 50 locomotives built at
Doncaster, entering service from 1983 to 1987. These were a low-cost modular
design fitted with a Ruston-Paxman 12RK3ACT 3300hp engine.
